Building, Not Flipping
I believe exceptional businesses should be built for durability, not for a predetermined exit.
My objective is to acquire and lead an outstanding small or medium-sized business, working alongside management and employees to create long-term value.
While I favour long holding periods, I remain open to future liquidity events when they create an attractive outcome for shareholders and support the long-term success of the business.
I am not pursuing a fixed five-year investment thesis. Instead, I believe that patient ownership, operational excellence and thoughtful capital allocation create the strongest outcomes over time.
The Owner-Operator Approach
I am seeking investors who back an owner-operator to acquire and lead a business.
The objective is to build a larger, stronger and more valuable company over time, while remaining opportunistic regarding future liquidity events rather than targeting a fixed exit horizon.
My role is to become the long-term leader of the business, assume full operating responsibility and work closely with employees, customers and shareholders to unlock its long-term potential.
Growth Through Multiple Paths
Each business is different, and value can be created through many avenues. That journey may involve organic growth, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalisations or partial liquidity events at different stages of the company’s development.
No specific path is predetermined. Instead, decisions should be guided by what creates the greatest long-term value for the company, its employees, its customers and its shareholders.
The strategy is not to follow a predetermined playbook, but rather to pursue the initiatives that best strengthen the company over time.
Alignment of Interests
I strongly believe that investors, management and employees should be aligned around the common objective: creating long-term value.
I expect to become a meaningful long-term shareholder through my holding company, Gold’n’Roll, ensuring alignment between ownership and management from day one.
My initial ownership interest is intended to reflect the work involved in sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and completing an acquisition, as well as my commitment to leading the company full-time following the transaction.
Following an acquisition, I intend to assume full executive responsibility for the business, with compensation linked both to operating performance and long-term value creation.
Ownership participation may be structured through performance-based vesting mechanisms, allowing my ownership interest to increase over time as value is created and strategic objectives are achieved.
This approach seeks to align investors and management around a simple principle: long-term value should be earned through execution, stewardship and results.
Why Romania
Romania remains one of the most attractive yet underfollowed markets in Europe for small and medium-sized business acquisitions.
The country offers a large base of founder-led businesses, strong entrepreneurial talent, attractive long-term economic fundamentals and a growing need for succession solutions.
My goal is to identify and acquire an exceptional Romanian company and help it reach its next stage of development as an independent, professionally managed and sustainably growing business.
